The more-ish Moray plains

The sign says it all
Up from Pang, one of the few flat sections on the trip, the Moray plains, are a treat

Shelley taking it in her stride

We were lucky enough to spot some Kyang (Wild Ass) along this stretch. Also home of the thar, ibex, marmot and snow leopard

Enjoying our lunch boxes on the edge of Tso Kar, a high altitude salt pan at 4600m where we camped for the night

Our groovy 'campsite' manager, whirring his prayer wheel and reciting his prayers. He oversees any campers and asks no more than around R50 for use of his villages communal lands. The money is used restore the village 'Gompa'.

..and what a campsite it was!

Mani stones etched with Tibetan prayers along the shores of Tso Kar. Our tents way off in the distance
